Perthshire's second largest town - Crieff - lies 16 miles west of Perth in Strathearn. Crieff is a thriving market town with loads of shops and attractions as well as the Perthshire countryside right on the doorstep.

Crieff Highland Games
One of the highlights of the year, held in the middle of August, Crieff Highland games is a great family day out. Often the games are presided over by a celebrity Chieftan - Ewan Macgregor, Elaine C Smith recently. For the moment, Crieff Highland Games is in it's home of Market Park at the bottom of King Street. Show up in Crieff on Games day and follow the crowds.

Drover's Tryst
Looking for something interesting in the quiet time at the end of autumn. Crieff's Drover's Tryst is a walking festival with loads of events to keep everyone busy. Guided walks, hill-walks, educational rambles in the strath. It's all here in mid october and well worth a visit.
