Accommodation in STORNOWAY (?December 2009)

Postby Seil on Wed Nov 04, 2009 9:12 pm

I've spent I don't know how long googling to find suitable accommodation in Stornoway. By suitable, I'm looking for disabled access, like ground-floor or lift access. Can I find a thing? No way. Visit Scotland is useless, and there are hundreds of entries in google for Stornoway accommodation giving much the same meaningless blurb. Standards are really poor I think. So, I'm ranting I guess. Anyone disbelieving me, have a go yourself.

I have an email address for visit Scotland - Stornoway, (stornoway<at>visitscotland.com) and intend to email them and ask why they cannot improve their service.

Has anyone on here any tips re Stornoway? (The one about DON'T GO I've already thought of lol)

Nothing here, so try Stornoway-Und Sco links to the right.
Sorry I can't help more.
It may be colder here, but there is always a warm welcome in Scotland.
